Air Blows On Floor Not In Front Vents

Where the air comes from when vacuum is lost the system defaults to the defrost mode.

I have a 1991 s 10. Ac only blowing through defrost vent and not coming out of the main front vents. Owners have reported several instances of the air conditioning not blowing through main dash vents or only blowing through the floor and defrost vents. If an ac vent is not blowing air in one room in your home then close the vents in other rooms either partially or wholly to improve the airflow to that room.

I get good heat and air conditioning from my front vents but when i select floor or defrost vents the air still only blows from front vents. During battery replacement the control module for the mode actuators may lose its memory. A c not coming from front vents only blowing from defrost and floor. I have heard some people say it is probably a vaccum hose issue.

Often this is experienced after replacement of the battery. Had to play with the switch to get it to blow. It blows out the floor vent and the defroster vent but it won t change and blow out the dash vent. Ac only blowing through defrost vent and not coming out of the main front vents.

Try closing some air vents in bathrooms closets and hallways to see if you get better airflow to the affected room. Questions toyota toyota tundra 2007 toyota tundra ac only blowing through. Any one know what i need to do to fix this problem. There is a motor that controls the selection of where the air. Problem started after a trip to south florida it was blowing on and off out of the vents but weak.
