Very pretty pound cake but it needed some more flavor.
However for a little something extra you can serve it with fruit and whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
Since the almond pound cake glaze is so delicious this is a pound cake recipe that can be served by itself or with a cup of coffee.
The almond pound cake comes out perfect.
Bake at 350 f for 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cream the butter and sugar.
Beat on low speed with electric mixer until moistened.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Preheat the oven to 325 f.
Combine cake mix pudding mix eggs water oil and almond extract in large bowl.
Invert onto cooling rack.
